Mealy Bugs  are the best examples of the survival of the fittest. HOW???

Mealy bug will never ever suck ur pesticide cuz their prepuce enters the soft tissues of the plants .
Mealy bugs have a waxy coating over them <it is thin though> . And i Know u all know about that from other websites.
Mealy bugs multiply very rapidly in Warm and humid weather .
Mealy bugs have morphologically difference in males and females. Males can fly females wont. MALES CAN FLY ALWAYS ofcuz.

Now How to treat them .

In my case I had massive invasion of mealy bugs in my lawn grass and Papaya, Guava
<it has hard tissue though>.

So treated with everything available from internet based research notes.

In the nutshell i am gonna tell u :-

Alcohol  kills instantly.<Exosmosis>
Neem oil mixed with soap water . <equal quantity of liquid soap and neem
Fubendiamide 39.35 %    Insecticide <Bayer named it as FLAME> . Remember it is a powerful insecticide . Single drop in one to one and half litre .

Biological control method Beauveria bassiana is a fungus   owhich kills the mealybug. It is a pathogen of mealybug.

Black ants can kill the mealy bug . How?? Mealybugs kill the plant by sucking their sap and black ants kill the mealybug by peircing the waxy coat and sucking their sap.

Lady bugs does the same.
